Year 5 had a great forest school session. They were challenged to make their own Viking longboats, rows included, with only natural resources. The inclusivity and team work was fantastic! 🛶🪵

Year 3 have had a fantastic first day at Barnstondale 🔥🌳

Year 5 have used many skills in forest school this week. We are looking at the lives of Vikings. This week they have used the loppers and a cross hitch to create a bow. They have also been foraging like Vikings and making shelters in the style of Vikings. We started our session with a Viking long boat race.

Year 5 had an amazing afternoon at Crucial Crew where we learnt a range of life skills to help us keep ourselves safe 🚒🚆🚓🛟🚦📱🔌

Continuing the theme water, Year 4 today had to make their own tippy taps. What a great first effort! Some children also made rafts to test on water. We finished the session off with banana splits 💦 🚰
