Our year 5 and 6 hockey team took part in a local competition after school yesterday. Some great play and teamwork saw them finish in 2nd place, only losing out to joint first place by 1 goal! 👏🏼 🏒

Year 5 had a great forest school session. They were challenged to make their own Viking longboats, rows included, with only natural resources. The inclusivity and team work was fantastic! 🛶🪵

Year 5 have used many skills in forest school this week. We are looking at the lives of Vikings. This week they have used the loppers and a cross hitch to create a bow. They have also been foraging like Vikings and making shelters in the style of Vikings. We started our session with a Viking long boat race.
